Summary of the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Corporate Relations and University Placements Manager to develop and manage corporate partnerships, facilitating placement opportunities for university students. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building strong relationships with industry leaders across various sectors, understanding their hiring needs, and ensuring successful placements of students in alignment with university goals.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in securing internship and placement opportunities for our client university’s students while also developing and implementing training programs to enhance their employability skills. Job Responsibilities

Corporate Engagement and Tie-ups

• Develop and implement a comprehensive corporate relations strategy to establish and maintain partnerships with corporates for graduate placements (corporate connect)
• Identify and engage with potential employers to create job opportunities for university graduates.
• Collaborate with academic departments to align graduate skills with industry requirements and facilitate placements.
• Organize networking events, industry talks, and career fairs to foster connections between students and potential employers.

Placement Management

• Identify and coordinate internship and job placement processes for students across various disciplines.
• Conduct workshops and facilitate training support to students in resume writing, interview preparation, and other career development activities.

Events & Networking

• Build and maintain relationships with alumni to foster mentorship and networking opportunities for students and graduates
• Participate in industry events to enhance the connect with Education fraternity.
• Represent the university at industry conferences, networking events, and career fairs to raise awareness and form new corporate partners.

Data Management and Analysis

• Maintain accurate records of student placements, including tracking outcomes and success metrics.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of existing programs and make recommendations for improvements.
• Analyze placement data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for partnership expansion.
• Present analysis reports for university administration and stakeholders on placement activities and outcomes.

Marketing and Outreach

• Promote placement services and opportunities to students through various channels, including social media, newsletters, and campus events.
• Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to promote graduate placement opportunities to students and employers.

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Master’s degree preferred.

Skills

• Proven ability to build and sustain relationships with corporate stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of recruitment trends, industry demands, and campus hiring processes.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools for managing corporate databases.

Preferred

• Existing network with industry leaders across sectors.
• Experience in managing placements for educational institutions or training programs.

Experience

• Minimum 3-5 years in corporate relations, career services, corporate connect, Industry academia linkages, in the higher education sector, University Placements, Career development cell in universities
• Experience in conducting workshops, seminars, and training programs is essential.
• Strong network and connections with the corporate sector in India.
• Experience in managing alumni network
